Greetings, and welcome to Frugal Beauty! I’d like to start off with a disclosure: if you’re looking for a traditional beauty blog, complete with designer makeup brand reviews and helpful tips/tricks, you’ve come to the wrong place. Unlike most women, I am not head over heels in love with makeup and new beauty trends – most days, you’ll be lucky to find me wearing anything more than an occasional facial moisturizer and a swipe of clear lip gloss. I admire those beauty bloggers out there that easily spend hundreds of dollars perfecting their make up looks, though I am not one of them. I believe that make up shouldn’t have to be expensive to work, and I’ve come to find that the amount of money you spend on a product isn’t what’s important – it’s how much you believe in the product you’re buying and the look you’re trying to achieve. I am a firm believer in loving yourself first and foremost; if you love what you see when you take a look in the mirror first thing in the morning, then chances are that you’re already halfway to becoming the most beautiful woman on the block!
Frugal Beauty is a sensible beauty blog with a twist – for those of you who don’t enjoy all things beauty, or for my guy followers out there, I’ve included book, movie, and technology reviews just for you! My goal is to relate to each and every one of my followers, even the ones who don’t know the difference between blush and bronzer!
Now, a little info about myself. My name is Kelsey, and I’m a current Sophomore at Tallahassee Community College. Upon graduating from TCC in April, I plan to transfer to Florida State University to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Editing, Writing, & Media. I work as an administrative assistant for the State of Florida, and I also spend time writing feature articles for a local family magazine. My dream is to write a best selling novel and travel the world.
If you wish to contact me for any reason, please view my contact information, or you may find me on any of my social media sites found in the sidebar. Feel free to browse around, and if you like what you see, leave me a comment – or even better, follow me for more updates!
Stay beautiful, lovelies!
